Reach Montenegro by roads
The two major road ways in Montenegro are the Adriatic motorway from Igalo to Ulcinj and the motorway that links the south and the north, from Pertovac, across Podgorica and Kolasin to Bijelo Polje.
Please note that, the roads in Montenegro are dreadful, and badly marked. The signs are often destroyed, and there might be holes on the road. The traffic infrastructure is pathetic, so be carefull when you come to visit Montenegro by car.
International motor insurance cards (green cards) are valid from EU countries. A driver must carry a license from the country of residence; an international driving license is not required.
