Zabljak laid under the foot of beautiful massive mountain, Durmitor. Durmitor is situated on the north of Montenegro with the Tara canyons and other parts continue on 39 000 ha. There are eighteen beautiful glacial lakes called "Gorske oci" (mountain eyes). Largest and the most attractive is the "Crno jezero" (Black Lake), two kilometers away from mountain Zabljak, a ski center of Montenegro. The most value treasures of Montenegro are mighty rivers and canyons. Durmitor is the right place for scientists and nature lovers

Ski Resort Zabljak

Zabjak is on of the most know ski resort in Montenegro, covered with snow for 120 days a year. There are three main ski-trails: Savin Kuk, Stuoc and Javorovaca.

Savin Kuk is serviced by two chair lifts and two bar lifts (one of them – child one); the trail is 3500 m long.
On Stuoc, the trail is shorter (2630 m) but not less interesting.
Javorovaca is suited for beginning downhill skiers, as the trail is quite short and easy (800 m).
There are also trails from 3 to 12 km long for cross-country skiers.

Working hours:
Winter season: 10:00 - 16:00
Summer season: 11:00 - 17:00

Prices for ski passes:
Savin Kuk Ski Pass - 1 day = 15 €
Baby lift - 1 day = 3.50 € , 7 days = 15 €, 10 days = 25 €, season = 80 €
Ski and boot rental - 1 day = 10 €, 7 days = 50 €

Snowboards and boots are also available to hire at a slightly higher price. There is also a shop in Zabljak that sells ski and boarding equipment.
There is also a ski school. Lessons cost around 10 € per hour if you are in a group or around 20 € per hour for individual tuition.
